Chinese Purple Wisteria, The wisteria is hardy in USDA Zones 5 to 9. It can grow up to 40 feet tall and 40 feet wide if left untrimmed and untrained. They are grown for their beautiful long flowers. They can be grown in full sun to partial shade, but will do best in full sun as they will smother out other plants to get full sunshine. This plant is in a 1 gallon pot and measures at least 6 to 8 inches tall and 8 inches wide. (These plants are measured from the top of the root ball to the top of the plant!) The plants are left in the pots until agreement and payment to purchase has been received. Then they are pulled from the pot, wrapped in plastic with some of the dirt mixture to keep it somewhat moist and packaged to ship. They will ship USPS Priority mail that day. I do only ship live plants on Monday and Tuesday and occasionally on Wednesday so they arrive to you before the weekend! Please be sure that after you receive the tracking information that you have someone to receive the package so it does not sit in the hot sun and bake in the box all day! We are licensed in the state of Georgia as a nursery and are inspected as such. Some of the plants you receive may still have some white residue on them from the last spray to control the fungus, pests, and to fertilize the plants. This residue is normal and will wear off in time. We guarantee that our plants will arrive alive to your destination if removed immediately upon arrival. We're sorry, but we do not ship these plants to California, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico due to restrictions by their Departments of Agriculture.
